Hello ladies, gentlemen, and others, I'm 16 years old and i am interested in perusing a career in game development/ design (ik i'm young). i'm currently building a portfolio and i'm using the Unreal Engine to create my own multiplayer maps (i'm pretty sure Gears Of War runs on this engine). i'm trying to build a portfolio to show my progression within UDK (the software that i use. it means Unreal Development Kit.) but to be honest. i'm running out of ideas of things to build. can you guys give me some ideas? i can build survival themed maps although i'm not skilled enough to program that custom game mode into UDK. also, if you happen to know UDK what are some cool things you can do in it? if people are interested, ill post some screenshots of my oldest map to my most current one. personally i think i have improved a lot. thanks alot for your input!
