Both hard modes (VoG and CE) ... [b]have way more bugs and glitches !![/b] These often can lead to full team wipes and much much more time spent stuck at the boss and playing the game So if you want to spend (aka waste) a lot more time at the final boss then hard mode may be for you. Oh also you can get gloohoo (ugly shader) or the crux (turns into terrible gun) from Crota And some sweet Chatterwhite (ugly shader) or the Mythoclast (old best gun ever) from Atheon. Vog hard mode has extra weapon drops and is the only way to get the vex myth and vog helm Crotas end hard drops primary weapons and crux of Crota (necrochasm) and a different shader Both hard modes have an exclusive ship and sparrow

Originally you couldn't get to the level cap without raiding for a long time. Hard doubled your loot drops and gave you more shards.
