So nobody will help me finish off Crota on hard because...
I don't have a gjallarhorn.
I've been playing since day one. I know the strategies. I either get stuck with clueless randoms or elitist assholes who think that is the only weapon that will work.
Funny thing is I've been with groups with one Gally and sever HoCs and his shield is down almost instantly.
Because experience doesn't matter.

FINAL EDIT: So I finally beat him last night and guess what? I got crap drops.
Glowhoo, another raid helm with same perks, and my 3rd Patience and Time that I don't plan on using.
All that hard work and time wasted... damn.

I've had gally since the third weeks nightfall bro, and the truth is I didn't use it on any of my hard raids. Why? Because I prefer my ice breaker when it comes to Crota on hard to keep boomers at bay. I use my hunger and shoot to rockets each time when Crota falls, "oh but what about heavy ammo" well you see, there's this little known thing with the ice breaker and no ammo which has been around since I got it in week 5 (so probs dates back to first week) that allows you to have a pool of heavy ammo before leaving the room. It's awesome.
