When I was much younger, I had to go for an urgent tooth extraction because the tooth had decayed pretty badly (I don't remember why), but the anesthesia somehow didn't work properly, probably because it wasn't given enough time to kick in (my memory of that incident is kinda fuzzy now), and apparently everyone outside could hear me screaming. I'm glad I don't remember all the details, but it definitely was -blam!-ing excruciating. Apart from that, I had pneumonia once, and when the hospital staff were trying to draw some of my blood for testing they kept pricking me but missing the vein. Can't remember if that one [i]really[/i] was that painful though. I think I was just a pussy then.
