This is not an entirely true statement.. Destiny.. yeah maybe, but there are a lot of games that are non-linear.

Look at all the boss end fights... they are reactive to the position and events of the guardians. Maybe Destiny is just broken. Edit: Not looking to argue... these are all just opinions. Be cool!
