No it isn't, the forums are for dedicated players who wish to find a group to complete said activity. With matchmaking, any Johnny no thumbs can go search for a group and mess up everyone. People on the forums can communicate to the group about the ways that they want things to be done, if matchmaking was to be implemented, the searching would be fillies with drunken bastards that hit the wrong button and then quit as soon as it starts. Matchmaking would waste development time that could be used to add content to the game.
