This has been the way some people do it since the beginning. It's nothing new. But you're an ass for causing a wipe. If you want to rush ahead and skip enemies, that's fine by me, but there is no need for you to wipe your team once you get to the end. Just go solo until your team catches up. That way you're only half an ass. Remember, there are bounties and other reasons why someone doesn't want you to artificially wipe them. Be courteous with random teams, or start your own fireteam who will follow you. Don't be an ass, you'll live longer and have a better life.
