Crucible has superior armor, by far. There are three stats; Strength, Intellect, and Discipline. For most builds on most characters, Intellect and Discipline are the most useful (OPINION!!! GASP!!!). With that in mind, Future War Cult (head, arms, legs) and the Crucible (chest) vendors have the highest stats for these attributes. Both require Crucible Marks. But let's say you want the highest total stats no matter the attribute. Then go with Dead Orbit (head), Crucible (chest), and New Monarchy (arms & legs). These all require Crucible Marks. Numbers don't lie. Between these eight pieces of gear, I challenge you to find a better set of PURCHASABLE armor. Crucible is clearly the stat winner in regards to vendor wares. If you disagree, please educate me otherwise. Confine your arguments to purchasable vendor armor. Questions???
