Try running the Vault with all 28's. It's doable but extremely hard.
If you have a full team of 31's I think Crota will be next to impossible as well.
I ran it with my group yesterday. First time my group was all 32's, no major issues.
Second run we had all 32's and one friend switched to a 31. The whole time he was saying 31's don't belong in the hard raid.

I think this is going to be the way it works in Destiny unless they change how hard mode works. Everyone just wants the most powerful team possible to beat end game content and they have every right to form the fire team most likely to succeed. Been playing since September and I've never understood when people get offended because other players don't want them. if you've raided in other games it's pretty obvious that you must meet the standards of your group to be accepted by them as a player. End game=max level content right? Something to prepare for, not something everyone who plays should be able to do.
