This happened on my fire team too! 3 of us got across, I died, the 3 on the original side died, the 2 remaining destroyed the ogres with g-horns, and here's the worst part... The 4 of us that died... We all got the auto rifle, the 2 that basically won it for us, got armour and/or shards. I felt kinda bad :/
