I love it when Australians claim that posing as a vet will get you jail time, as if Australian laws have jurisdiction outside their island. I think it's high time they learned that there is a world with different rules outside their little SJW bubble.
Disclaimer: I don't personally agree with posing as a vet, but I fully support the right of people to do so.
Edit: I made this post with the assumption that the poser wasn't going for government money etc etc

I do not see why people make such a big deal out of it. I used to be in the military and do not care. It is a job, what bothers me is how people glorify soldiers and make them out to be "heroes".

7 RisposteThey want to act like one, fine I guess. But I do think if a real vet figures it out they should be allowed to beat the importers ass without any backlash from the law, within reason of course (no broken bones or worse I think would be a good limit).
