Nightfall deaths= restart to Orbit. Annoying.
I have done nightfall many times and if the entire team dies and we restart we have to go back to orbit which is so stupid. People come prepared to a nightfall with ghorns and icebreakers. Not green guns. Why does it send you back to orbit. Just put you back at the start of the mission directly after your team dies instead of having to go to tower. Anybody else want this to happen?

This game attracted so many morons. Being sent back to orbit only makes me care less. If it happens a second time, I go Raid instead. Killing Thralls in the Abyss really relieves stress!

The idea of the whole team going back to orbit makes me be very careful on the Nightfall, I die a lot more on the weekly because of my more cavalier approach to death. Besides, going back to orbit gives you a minute to get the adrenaline level down before starting again. :-)

Just go back to the beginning, not to orbit

You do realize that the back to orbit thing is the point of the Nightfall. The game doesn't have a way to restart the mission from just the beginning other than sending you back to orbit.

Modificato da bigbadwulfen41: 1/15/2015 9:02:27 PMI generally find nightfalls a little easier than the weekly on 30. Maybe just the play style is different on a Nightfall, anyway I tend to die more frequently on Weekly Heroic 30 than die on Nightfalls

I agree that a restart to the beginning of the strike would be fine. That said reading the words 'sent back to orbit' sends a much clearer message to those who are about to embark upon the nightfall.

A lot of people missing the OP's point here, he's just asking for the strike to restart from the beginning (not a checkpoint) without going to orbit. It would save a lot of time, in my opinion.

That's the point of the nightfall, either don't die, or don't do it...simple!

I agree it's annoying. I know it's probably ment to be annoying, but yeah, it doesn't really do anything but waist time. starting over from the initial zone in location would be fine, and still give enought incentive for your team to not wipe, cuz who wants to restart and clear all the trash again.
