Watched half minute. He says "completed areas locked on disc" i laugh stop vid and realize here he is an idiot.
Its a shell of an area in game to act as a placeholder for shorter download when dlc drops. Happened exact same way with dlc1.
More games should have the area pre patched on disc for shorter or (like destiny) no download time the moment dlc drops

Umm, just because you bought digitally doesnt entitle you to any extra content? Makes sense. its an unfinished area and we technically can still "access" the placeholder area by glitching. Thats NOT a finished ready to play area

I. As someone who has very little coding experience. Can go into any devoliping tools, and set enemies up with a comand protocol. (Given i am familiar with the tools) in under 30 minutes.

Sir, I want to begin with the statement that I do respect your opinion. Still, I must disagree. The primary reason being that your logic is flawed. The fact that this is on the disc, fully texturized, and fully rendered means that we had to download it on day 1. Hell, Kings Watch was even populated with AI. This means that on day 1, when we were most eager to play the game, we had to wait longer during the download process. I don't know about you, but I'm not nearly as excited for DLC content, which generally has a small download. In addition, we generally judge DLC by the size of it's download. They know this. The reason given by the press team was a clever ploy to excuse the small amount of content that is released in each DLC. So, in conclusion, the stated reason for the locked on disc content is a clever ploy to excuse the small amount of content released in each DLC, and to placate those who believe the content was unfinished. I would also like to note that dataminers ha already revealed the names of named mobs, bosses, and exotics contained in the Dark Below and in the House of Wolves before both DLC had launched.

the house of wolves areas like traitors ketch and kings watch has looked the same since the beta. you should not be able to glictch into dlc areas in a beta they should have been apart of the game

They are unfinished, not fully rendered, empty, shells of areas used as placeholders for dlc. They dont owe you those areas

so what you are saying is it is ok for bungie to have alost complete dlc in a beta? if they had time for that they could put the grimoire in game instead of working on a second dlc

The amount of time to script, test, and balance a mission in a game like this is 100 times more than it takes to prop up the environment. Environments are the first thing to be completed, otherwise there is no way for people to start laying out the encounters. Then you have to test them. they had step 1 done. They did not have 2, 3, and 4 done. You cannot claim it to be anywhere near complete just because the environment is done. And by the shitty state of much of the games story, balance, and flavors of cheese. You damn well know they didn't have time for anything beyond the bare minimum. Don't get me wrong. I am not happy either. If House of Wolves is not amazing and in some magical way makes up for this shit, I am a lost customer.

I'm with you on the lost customer stuff too. People think I hate this game but I don't I'm just disappointed. I expected something more from my favorite fps creator but I guess not. Would you happen to play on xbox or playstation btw.

Had a few friends of mine pop into my chat while I was playing and asked me about the game. I told them not to buy it because it wasn't worth the $60 or $90 dollars. They laughed and said all their other friends who bought this game when it was released said the exact same thing. They are aware they have lost customers and will continue to hemorrhage fans. Bad business principles and practices coupled with a bad product is the quickest way to destroy a franchise of any kind.

Look at kings watch dude. Go out and find it. It is a fully fledged area with ENEMY AI and a BOSS. They did not just do the bare minimum. Kings watch is also part of house of wolves.
