When you're shaving in the shower, and the razor peels a quarter-sized patch of skin off your leg like a potato peeler, it actually does not hurt at all (all the nerve endings are removed with the skin), but you're left staring at the... hole in your leg, with the blood pouring down your leg and down the drain, and you're thinking, "Oh my gosh, did this just happen?!?!" And you then start freaking out, and you try to finish your shower with blood gushing out, and......... it was so traumatising.
