I have one question, may not necessarily lie with the time line itself, but does anyone know where the Hive Tombships cut through from?

The Fallen skiffs boom out of orbit on earth, best guess is that the Hive tomb ships are in orbit around the moon. They could also be coming out of Crota's realm, were the raid takes place. Really, it's anyone's guess...

That's what I thought too, but how about this: You've just killed Crota, and you flee where you were (inside the moon during the Crota's End raid). If logic has any place to apply itself, by entering deep into the Hellmouth twice, by which exploring the one surface-accessible "base" of the Hive. Now, by going to the bottom of the Hellmouth, the unaccessible pit-of-death, and slaying the grand schemer, Crota, at least to our knowledge, we would have mapped out the Hive's entire presence on Earth's moon.

Noo... You are not inside the Moon in the Crota's End. You are in another dimmension crated by Crota. You are in the world of the Dead Sun, in his mind. i think that only the Abyss is part of the Moon.
