Care to elaborate on what you know for a fact about Dredgen Yor and the Weapons of Sorrow? Haven't been able to find much about him in my Grimoire.

Besides him making them, that's really all there is. We know Thorn isn't the only gun he made under the influence of the darkness, but that's about it. He turns on the Guardians at some point after killing Pahanin, I'm sure that's when they probably play a role in the story.

I've never found anything about Pahannin or Dredgen Yor killing him, any idea which Grimoire that is from?

You'll find a lot on Dredgen Yor in the Thorn and Last Word 3 Grimoire. I think the Weapons of Sorrow are only mentioned during the Exotic Bounty for Thorn, though I could be wrong about that one, it's been forever since I've done the bounty.
