Time to retire agent Xur?
Bungie is doing a really good job turning agent xur into a useless agent. This guy hasn't sold anything worth the trip for as long as I can remember.

When he sells good stuff, you get people saying he ruins the game, the earners vs xurner debates, etc. when he sells not so good stuff he is terrible, bungie should get rid of him etc. there's no pleasing anyone On a side note, if they do change it up, I would like it if he sold exotic bounties. Pay 20+ coins for the bounty and you have to turn it back in complete before he leaves or you lose it. That way people can't complain "you didn't earn that exotic". You pay more coins for a more difficult bounty and receive higher rewards, ie IB and jellyhorn

getting rid of him completely is just pointless. Plus all new players will see him as the best part of the game until they get all the exotics.

1 RispondiIf they made quests for exotic armor, I could see making him a permanent fixture just for quest items and other random stuff he sells, and maybe an exotic engram every weekend.

Buying an exotic from Xur should really be a tough decision. If people want to say the "earned" something they bought from Xur. then the price of the item should be representative of their value..... it is more difficult to grind out the marks to buy legandary items from venders then an exotic from Xur.... people didnt earn that stuff, they bought it on clearance. Edit: Aparently, many people think this is a bad idea because "casuals wouldnt be able to get the stuff", but I think the this proves my point in a way. It shows that the current commanality of Exotics, due to Xur, has skewed the general perception that hese are "EXOTIC" this stuff is supposed to be the rarest stuff in the game. it should be EXTREAMLY hard to obtain. play any MMO, and you will see that there is gear that almost seems impossible to aquire. I am not even suggesting that the rarity of exotics be at that level, but it should be MUCH harder to aquire than a Legandary. Obtaining even 1 should be a huge accomplishment. If this were the case, each exotic would have a huge value in your inventory, rather than just taking up space.

No keep him around. Even if he isn't selling a weapon or armor that I want, he is likely to have engrams &/or heavy ammo synth. I like the engrams, even though there is really only 1 exotic piece of armor left that I want (obsidian mind), I am happy to trade the Motes of Light for a chance at my gear, or the more likely exotic shard.
