There's a cheese for that checkpoint?
I just do the first 2 checkpoints with my group and then we find someone who has the Crota checkpoint and then beat Crota. We skip the deathsinger checkpoint because it doesn't give rewards so, we have no feeling to do it.

Deathsinger takes 3 minutes. Honestly, on the time it takes to find someone with a Crota cp, return to orbit, join them, reload the raid, you've wasted so much time to skip a laughably easy section.

That's the cheese. You should try it and get it down it only takes a few minutes and it's easier than looking for the cp

Ive done it multiple times. It doesnt take getting used to because its easy. But why do it if someone already has the Crota Checkpoint by the time we finish the first 2 checkpoints.

Because that's the raid. Why do anything if you're just going to be a scrub about it? Just pour cereal and milk all over the floor and slop it up like a dog

To be fair there is a shop 2 minutes across from me. There is about 60 dogs that take a dump in this overrun abandoned bit of land between my backyard and the shop. Bikes and household appliances often dumped there. Or I have to walk to the end of my road down three other roads to get to the front of the shop. Takes 12 minutes. If by taking this extra time I was given a discount at the shop or purpose I would gladly do it. By why waste my time walking the designed path if I already done so, if I can save time. I have to go to shop every week... Why waste all that time for no reason. I rather take the short cut. If Bungie gave a reward many would play this properly. Otherwise they are going to take the patches they find shortest easiest.
