Well my opinion is the deathsinger was put into the raid and meant to be played. Know what else? everyone of you arguing this is bumping this post and made sure bungie saw it so expect a patch. Thanks for doing exactly what I wanted you to do and admitting it publicly in masses

I already suggested a viable way which was to give raid tokens at the end of each major part of the raid. No token? No next part. In example no deathsinger token? No crota fight for you. Fireteam leader cannot launch unless every member has the token.

Not really since you're most likely doing the raid for loot and it's a part that doesn't drop loot. Waste of time.
