It's not that people don't want to do it, it's mostly skipped cause there is no reward and many believe that there should be one for the trouble. Personally I don't care whether or not I skip it, it's just up to what the rest of the group wants to do and I just follow. Is it difficult? Depends on your teammates. Is it time consuming? If you let it be. Should there be rewards for it? Perhaps, I'm on the fence about this one. It would have to be shards or energy. Having regular raid drops might be a bit much.
