Some people like to skip it. There's no reward. It's just busy work before Crota. It doesn't effect your experience of the raid or your loot drops. Let people play how they want, and you play yours. It doesn't make them a cheater or whatever bullshit label you want to slap on them to make your armour that everyone else got feel super secret special. If Bungie wanted to stop it they could easily stop you from getting into raid with checkpoints further on in the raid than you've previously reached yourself each week, but they don't. Maybe go ask Bungie for that fix, rather than being an asshole to people and acting like theyre the antichrist for skiping a pointless, rewardless fight..
