Are people who go around the deathsinger Even worthy of endgame?
Pretty easy fight. Takes about three minutes to do legit, kill two witches, kill two shriekers, kill a witch, done. Fight a hundred knights and off to kill crota. Are the people going around this fight, who aren't willing to invest three minutes, worthy of raid rewards?
EDIT: know what the worst part is? People won't even tell new raiders what's going on. They aren't explaining they are cheesing they aren't explaining how to do the fight legit. Then PPL get mad that no one knows how to do it. If we aren't teaching the new guys what to do how can we be mad at them for not knowing?
Edit: If you guys put as much effort into actually raiding as you do defending your shady actions this would be a non-issue

Let people play how they want, and you play yours. It doesn't make them a cheater or whatever bullshit label you want to slap on them to make your armour that everyone else got feel super secret special. If Bungie wanted to stop it they could easily stop you from getting into raid with checkpoints further on in the raid than you've previously reached yourself each week, but they don't. Maybe go ask Bungie for that fix, rather than being an asshole to people and acting like theyre the antichrist for skiping a pointless, rewardless fight..

5 RisposteI can usually convince everyone to do the deathsinger. It takes a wipe to get the teams to figure it where they need to be. Then another wipe to convince the team that everyone needs to run into the crystal room and spam rockets, grenades, supers, and go all out on the deathsinger. You don't even need a rocket launcher to take out shriekers. I do it with Fatebringer and grenades.

I've done CE 11 times (haven't had time this week) and I think I've only skipped the death singer four times. Once was a team mate who had the Crota cp first week so we skipped. The rest were groups that only wanted to run past the bridge CP so I just joined up at Crota. Yes people should know the fight because it's easy but it's no different than people skipping to the oracles on VoG

Why beat this when I have the CP for Crota? I don't beat the confluxes every time I do VoG, once I have the Oracle CP I share with my characters and my clanmates (who helped me get it so I guess I don't share it too much) So why beat the Deathsinger if there isn't a need, its isn't like there is a reward for beating that creepy musician; I do agree it isn't the hardest thing to do in the game, but it isn't the easiest either

1 RispondiI did deathsinger with four people. Two of whom had never done it before, but I told them how simple it was and we got it on the second go around. It's not hard. Total time with four people was about 10 minutes, and then I put the crota checkpoint on all of my characters.

9 Rispostewell, since a couple of weeks i like to do the raid backwards, starting with the bossfight, then the maze, bridge and the final chest. followed by the orbit and character swap. you see: there is no need to fight the witches as they don't drop anything in the first place.

As long as no one gets hit before you bring out the witches this fight isn't that bad to do. As long as you have a competent fire team with good weapons it can be done quickly. Still not sure why Bungie didn't include any rewards for it. It is a fight worthy of at least shards/energy.

I don't get it either, it is fun. Especially once you get SwordBreaker haha. Love taking on the sword knights with that gun.

1 RispondiMeh. I've done it. It's easy ESP with jellyhorn but why do it if you don't have to? It should have rewards after it. Not sure why bungie did that. No rewards equals skip city.

5 RisposteIt should be an easy fight, but I've only ran into a couple groups that were coordinated to take her down quickly. Putting that fight there with no drops is why no one plays it.

1 RispondiLol I can do that part myself it's that easy Wepons you need are at first to kill the two wizards are voc, black hammer, jelly ( jelly is to one shot the shrekers) After that I like to go left side ( has less knights) and kill the witch with jelly. After that I use icebreaker and kill knights ( sit were the boomers spawn on crota) EAZY!!

1 RispondiIn hard mode the people that don't do death singer will be screwed because they won't know what to do and people will only accept 32's for Crota
