With the latest dlc focusing on the hive i have become intrigued by the origin of these aliens. I know people usually say that the story in destiny is found in the grimore so began to read it but for the life of me i cannot find where the hive come from. All i found was exposition, and not much of it. So i ask the community because i am human and might have missed it. Where do the hive come from? Is there a homeworld? Is there a history? Was there a war for the moon? Who fought in it? Did we just concede peacefully? I have similar questions about the other alien races but I'm begining to think the reason we don't feel like were immersed in a rich world full of history is because there is no lore.
