[quote]What is the meaning of life?[/quote] The meaning, or purpose of life changes for me depending on the amount of pain I am in - ranges from: - Having a positive impact on others; essentially making a beneficial contribution to society or the world at large. - To see and do new things, to increase one's understanding of life and everything that interacts with it, through multiple experiences and perspectives. - There is no purpose to life, life simply begets life for the purpose of existence...chaos. - Purpose of this life is a reckoning, a punishment or reward for any past transgressions or good deeds in other lives lived on this Earth, and I must of been found lacking. - The body is the perfect prison, located within the jail that is this world. A life sentence that starts at birth and ends at the death of the body, receiving occasional reprieves to ensure that the self is not destroyed during the torture inflicted upon you. That sums it up, a brief look at the theories I bounce between during this stage of my existence. As you can tell, I haven't spent too much time thinking about it ;-) Any feedback?
