So let me get this straight I'm at crota we get him down and i get a stupid animal error it glitches him and I get banned? Or I'm playing crota someone else gets an error it glitches crota and because I want the loot we kill him and I get banned? That's not right. The glitch can be caused by either of these so I don't think there will be bannings going on

It's not up to bungie or activision to ban anyone. Microsoft will, which would take a lot of correlation between the two companies sifting through gamer logs, sending the list, and then one by one banning accounts. Don't take advantage of game exploits? Think about farming for glimmer on the exclusion zone. This game is one huge exploit. Out of curiosity. Anyone know how this exploit was even discovered. I feel like someone wasn't like, hey maybe if I dc right as he kneels he'll stay down. Accidental dc and he stayed down and minds were blown then replications started occuring. What's the origin.

The cheese is not modifying the service, it's interrupting it.... Service gets interrupted every now and then for whatever reason.

I believe that the spirit of the TOS for each platform is referring to people using third-party software or hardware to find & exploit a weakness in the game's code. An example of such an exploit would be using software to create latency during a PvP match so that the game believes that your character is one step ahead (or behind) Melee/Ranged attacks...for that, the BanHammer may not strike right away, but it will find you. :-) With Crota (to my knowledge), it's not playing as intended, and is probably causing more than one Bungie Developer to curse, swear & kick a copier, however, isn't a BanHammer worthy offense...if it was, I think Bungie/Activision would have stated something by now, or we would have at least seen a heck of a lot more "WTF?! Why was I banned?!?" threads. For now, the rebels get to be rebels, the sanctimonious can cry foul while those that dial Emergency when they see someone speeding can post "They're going to get you!" posts. ;-) It is the holidays, happy thoughts; is it irritating? Yes. Will it be fixed before the Crota Hard Raid comes out? Probably. Will this particular exploit destroy Destiny's game-balance as we know it? Not likely...Devs intentionally held back the "ultra-leet" primary weapons, giving the community the chance to find, and then brag about, said exploit(s) so that it can be addressed. ;-)

99% of destiny players are going to get banned then. The sad thing is everyone is doing it and they can't ban everyone.

Your an idiot, packet loss comes from loosing Internet connection or manipulation(I can get more specific), these cheesers are just quitting the game which does not cause any such loss. Please for God's sake learn your basics before talking this thread is outta control.
