I did nightfall with one of my friends If you do nightfall with two people you get better loot or so I've heard. So I have only gotten one exotic out of the 17 nightfall I've done which sucks. After we killed phogoth I got a legendary special engram and my buddy got 9 strange coins lucky him. So I went to the tower and said if this engram isn't an exotic or good legendary I'm quitting and guess what I got 3 ascendant shards. Three ascendant shards for a nightfall. Destiny kill me already I need new exotics and I get screwed over thanks bungee I thought you fixed the loot system but nope they didn't
