Except that shortcut trivializes the Raid and makes its rewards available to those who didn't earn it, which isn't right. Anyone who can beat the Raid legitimately has earned their gear IMO, so cheating on some future play through doesn't mean you didn't earn your reward, but if the cheats are there they'll be used by people who can't beat it without them and then people who didn't earn the rewards will have them anyway. I pushed Atheon off a few times (out of my nearly 40 VoG hard completions) and it was funny, but ultimately hurt more than it helped because now the Mythoclast doesn't have the proper exclusivity that it should, you should see someone with one of these Raid Weapons and be able to know that the wielder must be a competent player to have gotten it, which currently is far from the case. I'd rather have to beat the raid properly every time and know the rewards have value than to beat it easily and know that the rewards are cheapened in the process.
