Upgrading from Last Gen to Current Gen
So I got the limited edition physical copy for my xbox 360 and it came with expansion codes which I redeemed. I now have an xbox one and want to take advantage of the free upgrade you get (last gen to current gen) from getting the expansion, however the only help online says "add it to your download queue" but my only option is to buy it, does anyone want to give me more concrete instructions on how to upgrade?

I don't know if you mean these instructions but I had the same situation on PSN. When I went to download the Expansion pass for PS4 from PSN it said $34.99. I made sure there wasn't a credit card linked to my acct because it said not enough funds in wallet but that I agree to pay with my card linked to my acct or subscription. I was told it would change to free as long as I was on the same PSN acct as the PS3 one. It DID change to $0.00. I know this is PSN &you might have cc info for Gold but you can always put it back in after.
