Doing the mission to stop the Hive from summoning Crota and Eris is talking about how the walls cracked open and hive spilled out in their thousands. Then I enter the hellmouth and it's a couple of acolytes and a knight every few minutes, it's kind of underwhelming. The hive is built up to be this huge seething mass of fury and bone but when you invade their home nothing really happens, you just walk in, kill a few hive and walk out the other side. Being inside the hellmouth should be like the darkness maze in Crotas end where the Hive are constantly throwing themselves at you determined to destroy everything you stand for. I only really get the feel of what the hive was supposed to be in the new DLC mission where huge numbers of enemies rush at you. Anyone else with me?
