So turns out it looks like hunters can solo the beginning of Crota's end with blade dancer. the whole thing is based around using the light sources as a booster into the air when they explode. if you are just the right distance from them, they send you flying. ideally straight up. so you jump on top of the lamp, look down at it, when it turns red try to get yourself above it the right amount. obviously it is ideal to do this on the last lamp and blade dance across the bridge. unfortunately, striker superman does not make it far enough. it comes close though! perhaps warlock float would make it ? also you can use this method on the second lamp to scale the wall to the left and if you do this, you will have no enemies following you for the rest of the mission (you run into one knight and maybe a thrall or two) there is another wall you can fly up later that leads you right to the last lamp, but I prefer to take the second one.
