I wouldn't call the dlc an expansion (though it fits the theme of what destiny was going for). But I think the dlc is great. I don't get why people thought this dlc was going to be massively different then what we already have. Dlc is always more of the same. We got more story. About the hive. Through item descriptions, Eris, and grimiore cards. I'm not going to get into how they could have executed the story better. My point is we did learn more and the content actually plays apart of the current world instead of feeling like an off shoot a uh...side story if you will. Yes the characters could use more depth. Yes the info on the cards should be in the game. But at least for this first game the story isn't spoon fed. We are left hints and have to look for details and come up with our own stories. That's not going to be fixed or changed in dlc. It's really simple. If you enjoy destiny as is buy the dlc. If you aren't the dlc won't change anything for you. So don't get it.
