Hello Destiny/Bungie/Boys/Girls So Grimoire points/cards... Do they really matter & are the bonuses actually implemented into the game or is it all just for show? To me it feels like a dog chasing it's own tail, it explains that the bonus of reaching a particular rank of enemy kills is receiving a better drop rate from that particular enemy or an XP buff while killing with a certain weapon type. To me the drop rate doesn't seem increased and upon reaching level 20 where you NEED light level only to rank up, the XP isn't that noticeable. Maybe I'm wrong, most likely am but nevertheless I thought that Bungie could spice up the Grimoire section maybe with a better reward scheme which I will explain below. 1. Upon reaching Rank 3 with a Primary Weapon (10,000 Kills) Reward: Legendary Primary Weapon awaits you at the Postmaster. 2. Upon reaching Rank 3 with a Special Weapon (5,000 Kills) Rewards: Legendary Special Weapon awaits you at the Postmaster. And so on... 3. Completing Rank 3 of Strikes/Raids Rewards: A new Emblem which you can equip to show that you have completed such things (e.g. Like CoD rewards when you complete 1000 Domination Games or something) ^^ The above could also be added for Crucible kills/Patrol V.I.P kills/Public Events & more I do hope they increase the ranks on the Grimoire as for a game where you are forced to grind for countless of hours against the same enemies back and forth that ONLY (10,000 Kills) with a weapon doesn't really cut it, that shouldn't be the max same as enemy kills! In conclusion I do believe this will give more players the motivation to take notice of the Grimoire system in place and try harder to acquire a Legendary reward whether it's a weapon, emblem or (more ascendant materials) Please leave your comments on what you think guys!
