Couldn't agree more. I don't mind PvP but much prefer PvE. It's good that they've put the option in for PvP'ers to get something for there excess marks but it's totally unfair on the PvE'ers who just what to have fun without getting angry at self resurrecting warlocks hitting them in the back of the head.

Agreed. If they want more people in the crucible, make crucible better. Don't make the rest of the game even more pointless. At this point, the only things worth a damn are Dailies, the Raid, and Crucible. So, if you prefer to play solo, you're basically screwed.
