To those who don't understand, The slap to the face is resetting the gear... Most MMORPGS release new content that is stronger which makes older gear pointless, so in a way, it's nice that we can upgrade all of our weapons to bring them up to the new level... [b]BUT! [/b] Why is it necessary to reset the entire weapon? That is an [b]insult[/b] to us as players... Here we've spend all this time repeating the same content over and over and over again for the sole purpose of leveling up our gear only to be met with a new addition that will render it useless in time; I take that as Bungie saying, "The player's time is worthless to us, let's make them waste even MORE time on the same exact content doing the exact same thing they did before". What's wrong with leveling up the gear from wherever it's at? [b]WHY ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH IS IT EVEN NECESSARY TO RESET THE GEAR?[/b] It just doesn't make any damn sense... You should [b]NOT[/b] have to reset your gear and start from scratch, if anything, you should keep your current gear the way it is as a reward for sticking with the game through all the problems that it's had over the past few months. So let's Poll this and shove this data so far into Bungie's face that all they see on this Forum is this.
