Pre patch you could sell mats for marks, glimmer and rep if i'm not mistaken 50 mats for 5 marks, 250 glimmer and 10 rep.
Post patch you can sell marks for mats. 10 marks for 20 mats
If both are in game and if done wrong you can exploit this.
Even if the trade was equal. You could exploit it to get glimmer and rep easily.
