Actually I don't understand why we even needed to add a option to get more materials. If you go do your daily mission and maybe public event and bounties you will more than likely get more materials than you need. Only need, what, 16? at a time. That takes next to no time, if you left upgrading an item till the very end then, yes, it may seem like a lot, but its still not that hard. A lot easier than pvping for the required amount to get them marks then converting them IMO. Seems to be a change aimed at allowing PVPers to do nothing but PVP.
