Same reason everyone is talking about him and not saying anything about the 12 year old in Cleveland that was mercilessly gunned down.

Everyone is focus on brown while no one is protesting looking for the thug officers that murder a 12 year boy playing in the park...kid had a plastic gun u get a Walmart. So to justified for their actions was that the play gun did not have a safety on it. U can not see a safety switch on a gun in 5 seconds to call a kill shot... Thugs on wheels. Don't shape your hand like a gun you might be shot 12 times all cuz your hand was shaped as a weapon...right

I am saying something about that shit is just wrong. There's a video of it too. A kid with a BB gun in a park. Kid is obviously dumb as hell. But nonetheless the cops pull up and within 5 seconds of getting out their vehicle shoot the 12 year old kid. A lotta people who are protesting are aware that this isn't about one person getting gunned down. Wether innocent or not a life is a life ( if he were to go to jail for his crimes, mike brown wouldn't have died ) and at this point there's been way to many lives taken unfairly from law enforcement who end up not paying the consequences.

So what would you be saying if Mike Brown got the officers gun and shot him? Is it worth the life of an innocent officer for the life of a thug just for him to go to court and spend the rest of his life in jail. Who knows what he would have done after killing the cop. Maybe he would have killed more people or himself.

Police have extra-legal powers. Is it bad to hold them to a higher standard?
