destiny is a shell of what it could been why put us in this time? why not put us in the time where traveler and darknes are really fighting and were in a full war i feel like a prequal would be better than a sequal

100% agreement, no real player customization anyway, so just let us play with the owners of the original exotics. If we're forced to do things a certain way, at least it become acceptable when you know you're supposed to relive someone else's moments.
