Couldn't have said it better myself.
At this point i just want the light stat gone. It restricts any form of customization whatsoever.
It looks like Bungie didn't learn from the LOTR online devs when they tried to implement a similar light system

I would support getting rid of light, but at the same time, I feel like it would be easier to fix it in other ways. An easy fix would be making all legendary armor go to 30 light. Forcing you to use iron banner/raid gear to hit 30 is ludicrous.
