At the moment exotics aren't any better than a lot of legendaries so feeling like you have earned one is a little irrelevant because a lot of them don't give you much of an advantage to be excited about, I think that this would be a cool way of levelling up existing exotics beyond their max stats now so they feel more powerful, even a lemon like juju could end up being a boss
