If his fusion rifle was fully upgraded then I don't see a problem. Stop thinking your untouchable.
There's a easy fix here. If you don't like it then don't play.

this is good for the game obviously. This kind of attitude. If bungie had adopted this attitude when they launched this game in a buggy state, or when they first launched IB 1, well, the population would be even more abysmal than it is now.
