I consider myself very lucky. I've been through the raid only a handful of times, and I have all the raid gear (sans the helmet) for my Hunter. Awesome, right? Not so much. I bought/equipped armor for specific perks - which have now been completely thrown out the window. My intelligence was @ 100%, and discipline was hovering around 80% or so. Tons of Golden Gun shots and 'nade hucking. My character was set up perfect. Now I have to equip this raid gear, which not only is strength-based, but makes my character look like an idiot. So awesome, I now have unlimited crappy knives to throw. Weeeeeeeeeee! Maybe some people don't care, but this game was marketed as a - "Create your own unique character" - kind of game. All the level 29+ hunters look exactly the friggin' same. Coming from games like Fallout and the like, I enjoy creating a one-of-a-kind character. Just give us some options Bungie, that's all I ask.
