I do strikes when I don't want to play and just watch tv on my computer instead. Then I laugh when they kill themselves thinking I'm trying not to die and I just don't give a damn cause the strikes are boring as hell. That being said I hope the other two players are runners so that I can collect my reward without having to do anything faster. You guys can hate all you want but I'll just keep saying its efficient and don't report me "my controller ran out of batteries and I had to run to CVS"

But anyone with two brain cells to rub together knows either you've rubber banded to keep from being booted to orbit so your controller has juice... Or you would be in orbit because of a dead battery being afk. Guess what? Pretty sure they know that to... It's their code after all... [Spoiler]/reported[/spoiler]

If you don't want to play you shut your system off. That's a lame reason for going Afk during a strike

#freeloadingisawesome Bungie doesn't care about excuses. Enough reports and you're done. Just be mindful of that. I highly doubt they'll buy it that your controller batteries died 100 times in a single day or week...Whatever those numbers add up to. You're in the 1%. Bask in the glory that it is... I guess.
