I use it for strikes and patrols. Its not good for everything like most exotics. It has good damage and the dot is helpfull. At fully upgraded I hit vex for @1400 a crit yea, I used it in nightfall for the wizards before last week and rekt them. The dot gives them no time to get a shield and your buddies can finish them off easier. Its a good gun. If they buff it, it will be a god gun trust me. I secretly hope they buff the dot damage in some way but it won't kill me of they dont. Its still pretty op. Wish it refreshed every shot instead of every 4 seconds. I have devil you know and its a good gun thorn is a good gun. You use them differently. I cant help you if you want the thorn to be the best hc for everything.
