I know this post is old, but I just wanted to update on my experiences so far with my Hunter. Maybe I just got lucky and I play with really good people, but nobody has ever told me in-game that Hunters are worthless in VoG. This also might be because all of a sudden I'm the most experienced raider in my group of friends, so I have an understanding of every job. I definitely can't kill the supplicants with the same beauty as a Sunbro, but I feel like I hold my own and have proven that skill matters more than class. Don't give up on the randoms, man. There are good people out there. Have faith!
