When was the last time you took off YOUR shader?
Seriously guys (and gals, as rare as you are, yeah I said it), when was the last time you TOOK OFF your shader?
We spend days, weeks, months trying on new shaders to see which looks best. We don't take the time to say, heck what DOES this armor actually look like?
I'll be honest I have put on armor while I had a shader on, replaced it with something better, without ever having seen how it actually looked.
I dare you, even if for a single day, to take off your shaders. Take a look at how you are, without all the flash.
Say the fifth? Yeah, let us remember the fifth of November! I will be removing my shader for the entirety of the fifth, and would love to see how you look without your shaders!

2 RisposteI got my god of war shader few days ago and haven't touched it once. I usually switch mine around (since I get so damn many from crucible!) daily but this one looks too badass to change...probably won't until I get that fwc shader lol.

Who the -blam!- came up with these skittle shaders? They don't create player investment. They create player embarrassment and are a waste of -blam!-ing time and disk resource.

I play around with my shaders quite a bit, and like you I was curious to see my Warlock without a shader. Well...he's just a lot of brown. Brown helmet, brown gauntlets, brown boots, and brown chest armor. It actually looks pretty good. My Hunter on the other hand...gross.

1 RispondiEvery week! Chatterwhite to chatterwhite and chatterwhite again and so forth...new ones ofcourse! Look closely and you can see the slight bit of differences in each Chatterwhite.

My warlocks wear million million, and I never take it off. My hunter is rockin all dead orbit gear because I never get raid gear. So I never wear a shader.

1 RispondiOnce I got thunder devil on my Hunter I've never taken it off. Full raid gear (minus my exotic helm (acrylophage symbiotic) and shattered vault cloak, looks amazing for hunters

1 Rispondii was using Million Million for the longest time, but now my warlock doesnt wear a shader anymore because i actually look pretty good without one if i do say so myself. That New Monarchy blood red color is nice

1 RispondiI took my shader off when I got some raid gear and prefer it... it's all brass shades since it's made from bits of Vex, matched up with the Epilogue, looks pretty good IMO. Prior to that, always ran Crucible sans shader... avatar has a much more rough and tumble look (and hunters can get the Hardcase Cloak... torn and bloody, for a true avante garde look)
