So I was playing the VoG last night with a full fire team and I died right before it opened. Everybody rushed in to the first chest and had to wait for me because I revived far away from the door. Finally get to the chest and we all open it and I get nothing. Thought well maybe this is RNGesus being cruel to me. Flash forward to defeating the templar when everybody gets a drop and I get nothing again. Chest 2-5 the same thing happened! I got absolutly nothing from any of the chest or drop points! What gives? Is it because i was dead when the VoG opened? If so thats a really stupid glitch which needs to be fixed!
