To understand if he used a bomb powerful enough or with the intent to create a singularity we need to know what the darkness is. Could the darkness fill a black hole, neutralize it, eat it....or is the darkness an invisible force...we know RAS fought it so it has to be physical...we also know that we have seen forms of the darkness in the darkness zones...you know the little skwiggly black stuff that swallows the screen.
