I would suggest that Bungie totally gets rid of Emotes when in combat zones or PvP matches, and replace those arrow keys from game controller with Quick weapon swapping. I could go like this: Up - Swap between primary weapons you have in inventory Right - Swap Secondary Left - Swap Heavy Down button could be assigned to one highlited spot in Consumable inventory, where you can place consumable of your choosing. Ammo Synthesis for an example. Quick options like these would make our life a LOT easier during gunfights, and lets be honest- people rarely use emotions in heat of battle and social hubs are pretty much only place where those are needed.
