If it wasn't gated for a year (say a month or two), I wouldn't mind, but with Halo: MCC around the corner, and a lot of other games coming out in the next year, I just don't see how this benefits them in the long term in regards to XBone players. It seems they'll lose more money from people leaving before Fall 2015 than they'll they get from Sony for the exclusivity for a year. I know people say 'it's just business', which is true, but it doesn't seem smart to alienate ~half of your player base this way. I'm going to seriously consider not getting DLC for this game because of it. I can afford the $20, that's not the issue; why would I support a company who hold content from a large group of players, but charges the same for less? Smart business practice for me would be to pass on this, hopefully Bungie realizes their error. Edit: words
